The story of Yum Yums is a sweet one, covered in delightful buttercream frosting and multi-colored sprinkles. A simple joy we can all appreciate.
Heather Maiurro and Tara Langenderfer met in 2000 while working together in neighboring cubilces for an apparel company. Their cheerful personalities and amibitous attitudes were an immediate connection for these two as they discovered their common interest and passion for cooking and baking.
Heather had been creating the occasional wedding and specialty cakes for years for friends and family, while Tara had always desired to open up a food establishment of some sort. Together, their entrepreneurial dream of opening up their own bakery became a reality.
Now, with their brightly colored shop in UpTown and a kiosk that can't be missed in Park Meadwos Mall, they are taking over the Denver Metro area. They have perfecte the art of frosted little mini cakes, with over two-dozen rotating flavors, and go big with specialized wedding and occasion cakes.
The cupcake craze is far from over, and Yum Yums is sure to offer you a delightful experience no matter what the occasion!
